Cashfree Payments SoftPOS (Point of Sale) is an Android application that enables merchants to accept digital and in-person payments, helping run businesses more efficiently. It provides over 100 digital payment options to customers and allows accepting payments directly from a smartphone. SoftPOS supports the following collection methods:
  • Dynamic QR codes
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Payment links
  • Net banking
  • Wallets
  • Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options and many others
The SoftPOS application allows businesses to record both cash and online payments in a single interface, bridging the gap between online and offline transactions. Businesses can install the application on Android devices to start collecting payments seamlessly. This solution is ideal for businesses with multiple agents or those that rely on cash on delivery services.

Prerequisites

Ensure all the following requirements are met before using the SoftPOS application:
  • Android device: An Android device running version 6.0 (Marshmallow) or above (API level 23).
  • Cashfree Payments account: An active Cashfree Payment account is required. New users can sign up for an account and review account onboarding to activate your account.
