Cashfree One Click Checkout for Shopify forwards a fixed set of fields to the Abandoned Checkout webhook payload (such as cart_token, abandoned_checkout_url, and UTM parameters). It does not support forwarding arbitrary custom Shopify cart attributes into the webhook payload. To track custom data such as marketing consent, use cart_token or cart_id as a join key. Store the mapping of cart_token to your custom attribute on your server, and look up that mapping when the ABANDONED_CHECKOUT webhook is received.
Orders may fall back to the native Shopify Checkout in the following scenarios:
  • Inventory issues: Unavailable inventory or items with zero quantity.
  • Network interruptions: Technical connectivity issues can cause the system to default to the native checkout flow.
